View Full Version : display codes from anywhere in quotation

When I am reading a long quotation (i.e., one longer than a single screen), I may think, "Oh, did I code this quotation with Code X"? Currently, the only way to check is to scroll back up to the top of the quotation. It would be helpful to be able to right-click on the quotation marker in the margin and select "see attached codes" (or whatever) to see the codes from where I am, rather than having to scroll back up to the top.

Meira, unless you are using a very old version of the program, you can already do what you want - right click on the quotation bracket in the margin, and go to "show links". You can also right click in the text itself rather than on the margin bracket, which is a bit easier.

Nick, you solved all three of my problems in one fell swoop. Thank you!

Great - I love using comments, they are so flexible.
Best of luck,
