View Full Version : Bug: new quotation created when this should not happen

Considder the following situation:

You create a quotation, that you then think should be expanded. So, you select the quotation bracket, then expand the text, and click the appropriate button (for which the icon makes no sence at all, but that's beside the point). Now, you wish to start adding more codes to your newly expanded quotation. To do that, you drag your new code from the code manager or forest onto the PD. Now, instead of adding the code to the just exanded quotation, a new quotation is created with exactly the same boundaries as the just exanded one. That is not what I had in mind, and I can find no logical reason why this would be the case. I think this is a bug in Atlas.ti.

All I can say is you're correct!
I just tried this and it's true - however if you create a second, separate quotation and go back to the first (amended) quotation, it works as it should.
