    Code Colors in v6

It's nice to have the coding color in the code manager now.

    Two short questions:
    - Is it possible to transport the assigned colors in the manager also to the right margin window
    - Is it possible to transport the colors to the code-list output (rtf)?

    Thanks in advance,
    Kathrin

Kathrin, If you right click in the margin area and check "use object colors", then you get a different color scheme in the margin, which includes displaying the colors you have selected for codes in the code manager.
I don't believe you can show these colors in the code list output.
    Hope that helps,
    Nick

    Hi Nick!

Thanks for the reply, I havent tried that yet.
But it does not seem to do what I want ... when the "use object colors" is activated, yes, then a little color spot is added. But it is the usual color (of density: one assignement-black, two-red, three-blue, four-green, ..) and it is not the colors I selected in the manager.

You know what I mean? I attached a screenie, where you can see it. My personal color for those codes range from purple, black, etc. So the scheme is not transported I fear.

Or is there any other option (I didnt find anything in the General Prefs though).

    Thanks for reading/replying

In this alternate mode, the little colored rectangles allow you to match up which code is linked to which quotation bracket - that scheme replaces the regular scheme in which the entire code name is the same color as the quotation bracket.
In the alternate scheme you have illustrated, the code name color is now available to pick up user-defined colors for each code from the code manager. But in the example you gave, you have not changed the code name color of any of these codes in the code manager, so they all appear black as usual.
