    I exported my HU with quotations and got an illegal character error on import into excel
    the offending line is as follows
    <p>archival search for the two mainstream newspapers returned results for 2008 20010.</p>

    I exported the HU without quotations and got a parse error on import into excel
    the offending line is as follows
    <q name = "militant particularism (see a.. "id=q147_14" au="Super" cDate="2013-001-15T11:44:48" mDate="2013-02-15T11:44:49" loc="text:v03:10:1#51.0452309#723.8287335 (a bunch of other location information) :!"/>

    Hi,

    You will need to check your XML file for invisible characters and remove them. Such characters are sometimes created accidentally while typing. An XML parser or editor with XML parsing capabilities should be able to show you these problematic characters.

    Hope this helps.
